Based on a denim jacket made in 1941-1942. The silhouette features dropped shoulders, wide sleeves, and a straight, unshaped body. Features the rare T-BACK* detailing. While the stitching and details, such as stitch density and sewing direction, are based on the original, modern durability has been added, and the silhouette, including the length and armholes, has been subtly adjusted for today. The 2026SS vintage processing, in which selected artisans went beyond their usual processes, faithfully reproduces realistic paint splatters and the fading that appears after years of wear by an owner.
*A T-shaped split back. The back panel, normally cut from a single piece of fabric, is instead made from two pieces joined at the center back to accommodate the larger size.
This product may fade and transfer color to other items. Please wash separately. Promptly hang to dry in the shade after spin-drying; do not leave in the machine. Do not iron the leather label. This product has a distinctive texture created through special processing. Color unevenness, wrinkles, scratches, fraying, or small holes may be present and should be understood as part of the product’s character. As each garment is individually processed, slight variations in finish may occur. Take care to avoid snagging during wear. The garment’s processed look will gradually become more pronounced with repeated wear and washing.
