The second Popup Store held at Isetan Shinjuku. The #001 T-BACK DENIM JACKET ISETAN EXCLUSIVE II is a limited edition Isetan exclusive that was created especially for this event.It is based on a denim jacket from 1941-1942. The piece is characterized by a dropped shoulder silhouette, thick sleeves, and a loose body. It also uses the T-BACK* detail that is so iconic of Fujihara. The type and direction of the stitching have been created based closely on the original, while modern adjustments have been made to the silhouette in areas such as the length and arm holes. To provide the very best article for Isetan, our craftspeople have worked even on those intricate processes that are normally overlooked, creating an item that stands out with a special expression even among Fujihara’s collection.New Manual has now taken this product and reworked every single point from our own unique perspective. Aiming for a condition evocative of a longtime wearer having repaired the garment themselves, we have truly forged nothing less than the physical epitome of the desire to continue to keep wearing one special piece of clothing—and that has now become a New Manual IRREGULAR.
