The second Popup Store held at Isetan Shinjuku. The #002 1942 LV JEANS ISETAN EXCLUSIVE is a limited edition Isetan exclusive that was created especially for this event.
It is based on a 1941-1942 pair of denim pants, which are the oldest model among all the denim that Fujihara owns. These really are the perfect pants to match with #001. The pattern is based on the original, with a modified hip curve that keeps them from riding up. They have a slightly deeper inseam, with a straight silhouette that tapers thinly from the cross section to the hem. The painting and color fading has been specially recreated to make a set with the #001 jacket. To provide the very best article for Isetan, our craftspeople have worked even on those intricate processes that are normally overlooked, creating a luxurious piece that simply glows with all the hard work put into its creation.
New Manual has now taken this product and reworked every single point from our own unique perspective. Aiming for a condition evocative of a longtime wearer having repaired the garment themselves, we have truly forged nothing less than the physical epitome of the desire to continue to keep wearing one special piece of clothing—and that has now become a New Manual IRREGULAR.
