Based on the rare “31 chore jacket” from workwear brands, this piece takes its name from “31,” which referred to the lower-grade denim fabric of that era. The originally awkward silhouette has been updated with adjustments to the sleeve cap and armholes for a more modern fit. Its defining feature is the 2026SS vintage wash, recreating the subtle fading and aging details of a Canadian workwear piece that existed until the 1960s. Crafted through processes normally avoided by artisans. Fabric is specially produced by New Manual. Also available in a one-wash version without processing.
