#020 BB POLO COLLAR SHIRTS OFF
Based on a button‑down shirt from the 1990s, this piece retains its elegant silhouette with slight adjustments for a more relaxed fit. It incorporates 1950s‑inspired details like the collar shape, hem line, gussets, cuffs, yoke, and pocket design while carrying over the original embroidery on the collar. The metal buttons are engraved with the phrase “MAY GOD BE WITH YOU.”
Though a button‑down, it is deliberately rendered in denim using NM’s original indigo fabric. The white version uses an Oxford cloth with a slightly dry touch, inspired by Dan River fabrics. Available in two sizes: 16½ and 17½. This is New Manual #020.
